PayCalc.fyi ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected when you use paycalc.fyi.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
- No account registration — we never ask for your name, email, or any personal information.
- No cookies — we set zero cookies on your device.
- No salary data is ever transmitted to our servers. All calculations happen entirely in your browser.
2. Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, network-level analytics tool. It operates without any JavaScript tracking script on your device — page view data is collected at the network edge by Cloudflare. No cookies are set, no individuals are tracked across sessions or sites, and no personally identifiable information is collected.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. No cookie consent banner is required.
3. Shareable Links
When you click "Copy Share Link," your salary, state, filing status, and overtime settings are encoded in the URL as query parameters (e.g. ?salary=75000&state=california). This data lives only in the URL you choose to share — it is not stored on our servers.
4. Third-Party Links
Our blog may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
5. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from minors.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

All calculations on PayCalc.fyi are estimates for general informational purposes only and do not constitute tax, legal, or financial advice.
- Results are based on publicly available federal and state tax brackets and rates, which may not reflect your individual circumstances.
- Calculations do not account for 401(k)/403(b) contributions, HSA deductions, itemized deductions, pre-tax benefits, tax credits, the Additional Medicare Tax (0.9% above $200k), local/city income taxes, self-employment tax, or any other factors that affect your actual withholding.
- Tax law changes frequently. Rates and brackets displayed may be out of date.
